Liebe Seele is a company based in Japan that makes leather kink toys. They have a number of stunning collections on their website and even work with a few sex shops around the globe to feature their products in brick and mortar stores. Recently, I got the chance to try out a few pieces from their Red Wine collection and while I would have made a slight change to my order, I was not disappointed with the quality of the gear I received.
Red Wine Collar & Leash Set
Collars are an essential kink toy for lots of folks. For those who engage in Dominant and submissive dynamics, the collar is a common symbol of ownership and commitment that illustrates the power exchange between partners.
The collar in Liebe Seele’s Red Wine collection includes a matching leash, making them a very attractive set for folks interested in pet play or other types of physically restrictive play. Both pieces are made with that “red wine” cow leather and rose gold attachments, which complement each other very well. The collar has black leather accents and 3 rose gold D-shaped rings for attaching the leash clip or other bondage equipment.
The 42” chain leash handle is made of very soft leather that is more flexible than the collar, which is extremely thick and sturdy. The collar is composed of two layers of leather, red wine cow leather for the outer layer and an inner lining made of black sheepskin leather.
The collar has 9 different size holes for the buckle, which range from 14.2” to 18.9” in length. Although my neck size comfortably fits in this range, I realized I was going off the measurements for a necklace and didn’t consider that the thickness of a nearly 2-inch collar would make the fit significantly snugger than a thin, chain necklace would. As a result, this collar fit me but didn’t fit well.
The collar turned out to be the most disappointing part about my order, but that’s mostly due to my body being outside of typical sizing ranges. (It did, however, fit my plus size boyfriend just fine.)
If you have a neck size that’s on the smaller end of this range, you’d probably do better with the thick collar than I did. That being said, if I had the chance to redo my order, I would have opted for maybe the paddle or wrist cuffs instead of the collar and leash set.
Red Wine Ball Gag
It wasn’t surprising to see the same quality in the Red Wine ball gag that I saw with the collar and leash set. I was really excited to try on this gag and I was really pleased with it when I did. The gag fit wonderfully and the silicone ball was a good size for me. At 1.7”, the silicone ball fits pretty comfortably in my mouth, doesn’t hurt my jaw, and is easy to wipe clean.
My only complaint about the ball gag was that the mouthpiece could have easily had a snap-closure so the silicone ball could be removed for easy sanitizing and drying, but since I’m not sharing this toy with anyone, sanitizing isn’t a super high priority for me. Instead, I opt to clean this gag with a toy wipe or wet cloth. If I were able to remove the silicone ball, it would be even easier to wash with water and a little antibacterial soap but to avoid getting the leather wet, I find that wipes are a better option for cleaning this gag with the ball locked in place.
Red Wine Blindfold
In the product photos on Liebe Seele’s website, the blindfold looks stiff and sturdy. In reality, I was shocked at how soft and flexible it is. Most of the blindfolds you get from BDSM kits or sex shops have an elastic strap and are made of a soft, cheap material. The sturdiness of the leather combined with its super supple feel make this blindfold a huge win in my book. The leather strap and rose gold buckle closure make this toy much nicer to put on and wear when compared to one with an elastic band.
The Red Wine blindfold actually ended up being my favorite item out of the three I received. I have a pretty decent collection of toys already and the blindfold from this set is definitely higher quality than any blindfold I already own. The Red Wine blindfold felt like a real upgrade!
Conclusion
I really enjoyed the look and feel of the Liebe Seele Red Wine collection. While I was disappointed in fit of the collar, I think my size is outside of the norm for collars and it isn’t entirely shocking that a thick leather collar didn’t fit me well. On the other hand, I was really pleased with the leash, ball gag, and blindfold from this set.
All of these toys appeared to be high-quality items, had sturdy construction, and felt nice and soft during scenes with them. I would highly recommend Liebe Seele’s Red Wine collection to anyone interested in some nicer kink toys than you’ll likely find in most sex shops. I would gladly purchase items from their other collections in the future as well!

Yeah I’m always wary of buying collars because.. I’m a plus size lady and sizing is a gamble. Their stuff looks absolutely beautiful though. I might have to save up!
