Youth Resources

This website is intended for 18+ adults only, but that doesn’t mean I want to deny minors the right to sexual education. I believe children and teens should have access to comprehensive age-appropriate sexual education at any time where they need it. It’s important to me that everyone is aware of the risks and safety precautions of sexual activity.

For those under 18, I recommend reading Scarleteen. Scarleteen offers age-appropriate information about sexuality as well as a forum to discuss any issues or questions you may have. They also offer a live chat during specific hours for teens looking for one-on-one help with questions or concerns.

Current Scheduled Chat Times

Monday: 2:00 – 5:00 PST
Tuesday: 2:00 – 5:00 PST
Friday: 2:00 – 5:00 PST

Scarleteen also has a book available for those who are looking to read up on sex education.

For medical questions or concerns, Planned Parenthood can be an amazing resource to people of all ages. Planned Parenthood offers services that cover STI testing and treatment, birth control, abortions, and general sexual health exams. In addition to women’s sexual health services, they also offer services to men and transgender folks of all ages.

Planned Parenthood also offers text or chat support.

“Chat online or text “PPNOW” to 774636 (PPINFO) to get answers about pregnancy, birth control, emergency contraception, STDs, and abortion.”

Both Scarleteen and Planned Parenthood are LGBT-friendly resources who can assist queer and trans teens with any issues regarding gender and sexuality. For transgender resources, you can also check out Trans Student Educational Resources.

If you are under 18 and need further assistance, you may contact me so long as you identify yourself as a minor. However, I do ask that you please respect the intent of this website and leave if you are under 18, as this content is not appropriate for children or teens.
