Review: S-HANDE Anal/G-Spot Vibrator

Appearance

The S-HANDE vibrator is a plug-style sex toy that can be worn either vaginally or anally. It is made of very soft, smooth silicone that doesn’t drag or have any noticeable seams. It’s also a dual-stimulation toy, as the base has a ridge that stimulates the clitoris or perineum while it is inserted.

While the actual surface of the silicone is very smooth, there is a light, ribbed texture on the shaft of the toy but I didn’t find it particularly noticeable during use. The toy itself is on the slender side, with a shaft diameter of about an inch. The bulbous head of the toy is slightly larger at 1.18” but the size of this product shouldn’t be a challenge for most users. It is a great size for beginners of anal play, but as a vaginal toy I found it to be a bit lacking in girth for my personal preferences.

Features

The S-HANDE vibrator is fully controlled via an included remote, but also works independently by using the power button on the base of the toy. As someone who doesn’t really mess around with speeds or settings once I get going, I assumed that the remote control would be better put to use for public play, rather than during masturbation–but more on that later.

The head of the vibrator rotates 360 degrees, providing an interesting sensation when pressed against your g-spot or prostate. I was very excited about the clitoral vibrations in this toy but I was disappointed to find they are very weak because the motor seems to be located in the head of the toy and doesn’t travel to the clitoral ridge well. There is, however, a bigger issue: noise.

I very rarely comment on the noise level of toys so when I do, you know there’s an issue. I made the mistake of trying out the S-HANDE vibrator while my housemate was home. The high-pitched noise this toy makes is very noticeable and hard to cover up. In fact, even when I tried using this toy while I had the house to myself, the noise was so loud that it was distracting and made it very hard to enjoy the product.

In fact, because of the loud noise this toy makes, I’m unwilling to test it in a public setting, which is a shame because that was a main appeal of the product when I got it. The range for the remote is 5-10 meters, but you could probably be 10 meters away from it and still hear it whirring away in someone’s pants.

Care & Cleaning

The S-HANDE anal/g-spot vibrator and its remote magnetically charges with the included USB cord. Only one is included, so you’ll have to charge them separately, but it only take an hour or two each to be fully charged.

This product is waterproof, meaning you have the ability to take it into the bath, shower, or pool with you. It’s also incredibly easy to clean. Some antibacterial soap and warm water is all you need for a typical cleaning. For a deeper clean, such as when going from anal to vaginal use, you’ll need to soak it in a 10% bleach solution in between regular washings. For a full guide on cleaning, check out my sex toy cleaning and maintenance guide.

Since the product is made of silicone, it is safe to store with other silicone toys. It should be kept away from toys of a lower quality material and extreme heat. It is recommended that you use only water-based lubricant with this toy.

Conclusion

This anal/g-spot vibrator is an interesting toy that had a lot of potential in my eyes. I was excited about the idea of owning another vaginal “plug” style toy since I love using my Uberrime Sensi so much. However, the incredible loud, high-pitched noise ultimately made this toy almost entirely unusable to me.

If you don’t mind the noise-level of this product, it does have a few bells and whistles that make it an appealing toy. It’s a great size to be used anally and even if you’re not turning it on in public, it can be worn under clothes very easily. As a vibrator used for masturbation, this toy was not my favorite. With the small size of this toy, it would be much more suitable as a “tease” toy for public play than one I’d use to actually masturbate with. However, my complaints about the noise are so bad that I couldn’t enjoy it for this purpose, either.

For me, this toy was a bust. While I do see the appeal of the features this toy has, it just didn’t work well for me. If it were whisper-quiet, I would love to wear it around town while I ran errands or did chores around the house but I simply can’t be around others with this high-pitched toy buried inside me.
